The sector of real estate development deals with all facets of property and building development along the entire value-added chain.

In addition to new construction, the revitalization of older commercial buildings forms one focal point of investments into the office and trade segment. The group has as many years of experience and impressive references in this area as it does in tailor-made new construction project development.

In terms of logistics properties, the Dietz Group was able to reach a dominant market position in the past years, in particular in the sector air freight logistics properties. Today we are one of the largest private real estate owners at German airports. In addition, we also implemented numerous conventional logistics projects for well-known clients.

Since 2010 we have been developing and managing real estate special funds exclusively for institutional investors (including insurance companies and retirement funds). Up to now we have placed a total volume of € 300 million (as of 07/12) and further commitments in the amount of 200 Mio. €. Appreciable capital investments of the Dietz Group itself guarantee that there are no conflicts of interest for these investments. These business transactions and the special funds are subject to supervision by BaFin (Federal Regulatory Commission for Financial Services) and a deposit bank and are regulated by the German Investment Act (InvG).

Our subsidiary Dietz Asset Management AG is the central competence center of the Dietz Group for property and asset management and all general administrative responsibilities and thus the operative service unit for all questions concerning real estate investments. Its core responsibility is securing and increasing the value of managed real estate and investments with market values of over € 500 million (as of 07/2012).

As part of our integrated approach, the business area Planning and Projects realizes all architectural and technical planning services "in house" for our own projects and those of selected third-party clients, from the first draft designs, to project management, to the finished building.
